Man… I have so many updates to do on this site, I don’t even know where to start. So… I’m gonna begin with the basics. Here are a few sketches from my black book to kick things off. Keep an eye out Copenhagen… these joints will soon make the transition from the page to the wall. That’s a promise.
The Blackbook is where it all begins. So many new jacks starting out in graff these days jump right into trying to paint pieces, and in their haste to rush to wall or train, they neglect to develop their skills by building the real fundamentals. Style and technique begin on paper, and that is what makes the blackbook the most important tool for any writer or artist. Our old saying in KS was “if you can draw it, you can paint it.” Once the groundwork is done on paper, transitioning to paint is just a matter of can control, color choice, and practice, amongst a few other nuances of painting.
As I always say, please stay tuned. I’ve got a lot more to show you. I’ve been so busy lately, so I have quite a bit of catching up to do. Thanks for stopping by, and come back again soon.
