LavukstockLast weekend, I was invited to paint at a great little event called Lavukstock. It’s a small festival organized annually by Lavuk, a Danish organization that provides aide and activities for mentally and physically disabled people. It was an absolute blast to be a part of this event, and I am so honored to have had the opportunity to participate.  My homies Jøden and Jonny Hefty were the hosts of the all day event, so as a fun tribute to the fantastic energy they brought to the show, I decided to paint their portraits.

I have to say, this was a fantastic way to spend a summer afternoon for a good cause.  The folks at Lavuk do a really great job and their event was absolutely wonderful.  I have to admit that this is a cause that kinda hit close to home.  I have two younger brothers who have grown up since birth with disabilities, but they are two of the happiest people I know.  So in their honor, I was more than happy to be a part of Lavukstock, and I hope I get to come back again next year.

Big shout-out to Casper at Evil Beauty Agency for reaching out to me, and of course, to my good home Torben at Run For Cover for making the connection possible.  Thank you both for keeping me busy when my spirits got a bit low.  Definitely lifted me up when I needed it! Alright, that’s it for now… stay tuned for some more new joints coming soon. Peace!
